Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent solution for missing or extremely damaged teeth. The implant itself is made of titanium. The tooth-shaped crown that fits over it is typically made with porcelain to imitate the natural tooth while maintaining durability.

What Is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are designed to replace your natural tooth while still looking as natural as possible. The root of the tooth is replaced by a metal post which is surgically inserted into the jawbone. An abutment is then fitted onto the post, and a tooth-shaped crown is secured to it.

Should You Get a Dental Implant?

Missing or damaged teeth can affect your confidence and lead to a variety of other health issues. If a tooth is missing, other teeth may shift out of place and become misaligned, affecting your bite, speech, and smile. Dental implants are recommended to replace teeth that are missing or damaged beyond repair.
