What to Expect at a New Patient Exam?
On your first visit to our practice, you will receive a comprehensive new patient exam. These exams are intended to give our team an up-to-date look at your oral health. The exam may include X-rays, a 3D wellness scan, complete charting, and detailed record keeping. During your oral exam, your dentist will perform an assessment of your X-Rays, teeth, gums, face, and neck. Pre-existing restorations, such as bridges and crowns, will also be examined to look for signs of tooth decay. During the new patient exam, your dentist will review your xrays and dental records so they can create a personalized treatment plan.
